From 11:59 pm (March 23), all foreigners holding short-term visit permits are not allowed to enter our country or transit in Singapore.
This is the latest measure announced by the government’s cross-departmental anti-inflammatory working group to combat 2019 new crown pneumonia.

In addition, the Ministry of Manpower will only approve the return of Singapore Pass holders working in Singapore’s basic services and their families, including the medical and transportation industries.

Among them, the Singapore-Malaysia New Crown Pneumonia Special Working Committee also agreed that as long as there are proper accommodation arrangements, Malaysians with Singapore work permits will be able to continue working in Singapore during this period. Singapore and Malaysia will also discuss freight arrangements. At present, consultations are still ongoing.
