Today (March 13), the Singapore government announced to upgrade entry restrictions and ban all cruise ships from docking!

From 11:59 PM on March 15th, visitors who have visited Italy, France, Spain and Germany in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter Singapore!

Local residents (citizens, PRs, long-term pass holders) who have been to these four countries in the past 14 days will receive a 14-day stay-home notice.

If all passengers have respiratory symptoms or fever when entering Singapore, they will receive a 14-day home notice order in addition to the new coronary pneumonia test at the scene. Even if the test result is negative, the passenger still has to complete the home notice.

At the same time, the Singapore government also advised the government to also advise local residents to postpone unnecessary trips to Italy, France, Spain and Germany.

Today (March 13), Singapore will also ban all cruise ships from docking locally.

“In spite of our best efforts, we still see new cases every day, and there are more and more imported cases.”

As the global epidemic spreads, more similar cases are expected to emerge, highlighting the importance of border control restrictions.

Yan Jinyong added: “Even if we continue to tighten policy, we know that it is impossible to close the border, we need to ensure that effective measures are implemented in the long term and that life can continue.”
